This is part of the Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat microtour which starts on September 12.

It’s been three years since the last Avenged Sevenfold album, which was also released in the late summer. Rumor has it that a new album will drop sometime after the concert. There is a good possibility Avenged Sevenfold will play material from their next album before it’s released.

The bands in this tour will play the best of the best of each of the bands. Content from their previous albums has already received substantial media attention will be featured, such as Avenged Sevenfold’s Hail to the King, Volbeat’s “Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies.”

The last Avenged Sevenfold album, Hail to the King, debuted August 23, 2013 and was voted number one metal album in the world for 2013 and was at the top of the charts for three weeks in a row.

Only Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat (whose new album, “Seal the Deal &Let’s Boogie” debuted at number four in America and number one in Denmark) will be in Fort Wayne, while Killswitch Engage and Avatar will be in Nashville for the grand finale.

Most seats are still available but they are expected to sell out the night of the concert. This tour with their previous album being almost three years old is either a coincidence or a build up to a new album, a very exciting idea for Avenged Sevenfold fans and the genre as a whole. Although a new album hasn’t been announced, a surprise album would be very welcome.

The tickets range from $48-267 and while tickets will probably go fast, there is still plenty of time to get a good seat.
