Northrop Draws Carroll For Soccer Sectionals

The Northrop Bruins’ boys’ soccer team drew the Carroll Chargers for the first game of sectionals at 6 p.m. tonight at Canterbury.

The last time the Bruins played Carroll the game ended in a 1-1 tie, with goals coming from freshman, Erdwin Quintana and senior, Luke Unger from Carroll.  Both teams will be looking to complete some unfinished business.

Northrop finished the season with a record of 9-5-2. There were games where they looked rocky, but they were able to get back on track winning their last 2 games.

The squad will be strengthened with the return of Gordan Duras, the Bruins’ leading scorer, and Reese Fanning.  Carroll finished their season 11-4-2, winning their last game vs East Noble 5-0.
