14 students were inducted into the National Honor Society Chapter.  This is a prestigious group to be accepted in and to be involved with.  Students who have been inducted into the National Honor Society have achieved a 3.7 gpa or higher, demonstrate leadership and character skills, recommended by the faculty, and show an attribute to give back to the community.  The students should have 26 hours by the end of the year and all of the inductees have already achieved at least eight hours.

The sponsors, Ms. Dena Wierks and Ms. Kathy Neuenschwander, have talked to the staff and reviewed the possible inductees’ applications and picked the best candidates to be inducted. The inductees were:

  • Caleb Curtis
  • Srikiran Dasari
  • Janae Gerdom
  • Emerald Guntle
  • Hannah Heckber
  • Jaclynn Hess
  • Jennifer Hess
  • Melissa Kizer
  • Keiki Khone
  • Julia Niederholtmeyer
  • Faisal Rasooli
  • Brandtly Schreiber
  • Sydney Shuherk
  • Lynn Sihoe
  • Lauren Wagner

“It is an honor to be inducted into this group.  I am proud of my accomplishments that led to me getting inducted,” said Janae Gerdom, junior.
