Northrop’s boy’s team placed last out of seven teams at the Warsaw invitational swim meet last Saturday.

“Everyone improved on their times so I don’t think we did horrible,” said sophomore Andrew Fisher.

The Northrop swim team had a busy week ahead of them.

“To me it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about the effort you put in, this is my first year doing a competitive sport but I already feel like I am major part of the team, and only won one event this year,” said Gabe McDowell.

Northrop boys lost to Dekalb on Monday. The girls defeated the Barons at the meet.

The girls defeated Wayne, but lost to Snider on Tuesday. The boys lost to both Wayne and Snider on Tuesday.

The swim team travels to Angola tonight to take on the Angola High School Hornets.
