  • 24 Chicken Wings
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Braylon’s wings taste spectacular. Enjoy the recipe.

  • 4 Cups of vegetable oil
  • 4 tea teaspoons of butter
  • 2 to 5 tablespoons of Hot sauce to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
  • Celery Sticks

Preparation

Cut off the tip of each chicken wing. Cut the wing in half (cut at the joint) to make two pieces. Wash and dry the chicken wings–they need to be very dry to be fried crisp). Add salt and pepper.

In a deep fryer or large pot, add vegetable oil and heat to 400 degrees or until the oil starts to pop and sizzle. The oil should cover the wings and still be the same temperature.

Add half of the chicken wings into the oil and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and floating, stirring occasionally. When they are done remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining chicken wings.

Melt 4 teaspoons of butter in the microwave and put in large saucepan in medium heat. Add hot sauce and vinegar to melted butter. Stir well and take saucepan off the burners. Add cooled chicken wings and mix together. Take chicken wings out of the sauce and let the extra sauce drain off.

Put the wings in the oven on 350 degrees for 2 to 3 minutes to bake in the sauce.

Serve with your choice of Blue Cheese Dressing or Ranch dressing and celery sticks.
